Worship Crew 2023-2024

Our Bitterley Worship Crew are a very friendly and helpful group who are working to inspire and support all of our collective worship and R.E. learning in school. We lead and support our collective worship once a week and ensure that we are developing our understanding of Christian values and spirituality in school.

In September we launched our Christian Vision linked to the bible story of the Good Samaritan across the school community through drama workshops and our school newsletter. We worked alongside the Reverend Parker from Bitterley church.

The worship crew actively lead collective worship across the school.  Each they host an assembly and pupils have created a special worship area in the school hall and in school classes.

We celebrate special events at school and church such as harvest and remeberance day

Advent Celebrations

Our Advent Wreaths to share with the school community.

Our Tree of Hope

Every class wrote a message of hope for the future.

We sent doves of peace to the Children’s Commissioner. We wanted our views heard.

Mary and Joseph started their journey to Bethlehem. Posada is a chance to host Mary and Joseph – to make room for Jesus at Christmas time! Mary and Joseph took a journey through Bitterley school were welcomed into each classroom before arriving at the stable.
